There.com launched in 2003 with a eD immersive Virtual World - They recently announced they were shutting down on March 9th

There.com was created to make everyone feel comfortable, not just gamers, not just people over 18 and not just people who have high end computers.  It didn't allow users to create content that would infringe on existing brands.  On March 2nd Makena Technologies announced they will be closing the doors on March 9, 2010.

Linden Lab announces launch of Linden Home for all premium members - February 17, 2010

Several thousand Premium members have been testing Linden Home.  The feedback has been very positive.  Testers told Linden Lab that they had enjoyable experiences and valued it highly.  Based on feedback LL (Linden Lab) will be making some changes before the launch and over time will encorporate some of the bigger ideas.

Creative Island Build by Konica Minolta

I discovered this island about a year and a half ago and it has been one of my favorite builds.  A couple of nights ago I shared it with a Twitter/Second Life friend and would like to share the photos that he sent.
